About Us

KIMUSHA (KIH-moo-sha)

noun

Kim who creates a place of belonging

Kimusha is derived from the Shona word 'kumusha', which translates to 'home, village, place of belonging'. It represents the idea of finding nourishment and comfort in the traditions of the land. Kim, the founder of Kimusha, is from Zimbabwe and relocated to Minnesota in 2019.

At Kimusha, the concept of home is paramount. It encompasses not just the physical space, but also the profound sense of home that resides within our bodies and hearts.

Through services such as Biofield Tuning, Reiki, and immersive sound experiences, Tune For Health, a branch of Kimusha, helps you to reduce stress and anxiety, release energetic blockages, and restore your body’s natural state of harmony. This process supports the body’s innate ability to heal and helps you reconnect with the wisdom of your highest self.

Kimusha's homemade foods, G's Condiments, nurture both body and spirit, reminding us that food serves as medicine and that home holds a sacred place in our lives.

Kimusha represents a journey back to wholeness. It’s a remembrance of home and a celebration of living in a grounded, heart-centered way.

I believe that health comes from within, and Biofield Tuning, Reiki, and Sound Immersion sessions can help you slow down, deeply relax, and become balanced and open, to a place where healing is possible.

Background

I am excited that Biofield Tuning is my second career. I was in business for nearly 20 years, but I always wanted to help people reach and attain health and well-being through natural, safe, and effective means, like sound therapy.

Biofield Tuning uses tuning forks to interact with your body’s biofield, the energy field surrounding and permeating your body. This is truly fascinating to me as it affects the body's energy system, and how your body can cope with stress, emotions, trauma, etc. I have personally received and have seen health benefits in my clients.

I live on a hobby farm in Minnesota with my husband, daughter, and our gorgeous Boston Terriers. I am originally from Zimbabwe but have lived in several countries. Most recently we lived in Denmark before we moved to Minnesota in 2019.

I love sitting down with a good book, gardening, and preparing nutritious meals for my friends and family. I live for fostering healthy relationships, enjoying healthy organic foods, and ever pursuing natural ways to make my family and community healthier and more vibrant.
